Title: A short winter series

All shot over last weekend, all within a few km of our house.

You have more snow that we enjoy here in my winter country, Norway ... at least what's seen in my neighbourhood :D Just ice everywhere at present.

Keep up your documentation activity. It makes me want to return to Scotland :D

As I said in another thread - the snow comes and goes; winter in Scotland nowadays is a very moveable feast.

Velkommen til Skottland - we await the Rørslett return.   ;D

If I utter a word about "No winter whatsoever, around here," I'll might be fighting with a snow shovel next week. My great grandfather (never met) migrated from Oslo, to Florida, USA,,,,,I cannot understand how he handled the temperature difference.

Nice stuff, posted above.

Thanks,
Steve

Love the last one.  The mist finishes it up marvelously.

David:

Good stuff, and I agree with Akira, about the last one being my favorite.  I don't tend to think of Scotland as being so snowy.  Guess I will have to come and check it out in person!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Steve, Akira and Randy.

The last one is probably my own favourite, too.

Randy - 150 miles further north in Scotland, as children we used to build igloos in our back garden; snow wasn't permanent all winter but would stay for a number of weeks, a number of times; people would sometimes take their cars out on the sea-ice, and the village being cut off by deep snow was commonplace. Now we can get through a winter wth almost no snow or even frost except up in the mountains.

But of course there is *no such thing* as global atmospheric warming. (© D. Trump)   ::)

Chuckle on me, The temp is dropping from 73 today & overnight into the teens with snow tomorrow......& possibly a bigger dump in a few days. (Below freezing for the next week.

(I thought "Murphy"was an optimist.)
