Thank you for looking.
I used an old Nikkor 80-200mm f/4.5 Ais in this pic.

Very nice silhouettes, whith the cloud layer fininshing it off. I like it!
-
very interesting shot - well captured!
-
Marvelous, the kind of capture I really like to nail, you and the lens did well!
PS Interesting fact; I have heard that there are always maximum 7 shades of layers in such a landscape... :o

Very very nice and very very interesting shot. Well done.

Very nice indeed! The silver lining at the top of the clouds makes it for me.

Thank you for the kind words Gary and Hans.

I count 5 shades of grey in the mountains, pity I don't see seven :)
Were you in a plane when you took the photo?

No, I was hiking.

Great photo, love the colours. You have a good lens.

Fortunately, that lens knows which direction to point and to press the shutter at the right moment too :D
The venerable 80-200 mm f/4.5 Zoom-Nikkor really changed the way in which photographers perceived zoom lenses and paved the way for the ubiquitous acceptance of such designs in modern times.

Wow, that's is a stunning shot.

Thank you for the comments guys.
Some images are more sensitive to the lens quality than others.
