Title: Celestial Spheres
Post by: ArthurDent on January 02, 2017, 16:57:08
I took this with my 100mm Tokina macro lens and off camera flash. 1/250 sec at f/32, which was probably too stopped down, as auto-iso selected ISO 1600.

There is a discomforting lack of perceived sharpness, probably due to the small effective aperture used. Some of the softness might be masked by judicious use of sharpening tools, but in this case I would not set expectations too high.

I'd agree, I've since learned to use that lens much more wide open.
