More exceptional field craft Bob, with images to prove your stealth.
I have stalked Birds of Prey for years, I have not seen them give much more than 50 Metres if they feel your attention is on them and they always choose to be in cover using it to their advantage. Well done for picking your series off in the ideal settings.

I have stalked Birds of Prey for years, I have not seen them give much more than 50 Metres if they feel your attention is on them and they always choose to be in cover using it to their advantage.

My theory is that wild Hawks on refuges where they don't allow dogs get used to humans quite quickly... In fact, this one likes humans to stir up the voles to make hunting easier.. Sometimes I have to back up because I am in within the minimum focus distance. I have been photographing this Hawk for years now..
