My immediate reaction is the two persons are not positioned well, as they blend unnecessarily into the dark area of the background. Move 5 meters to the right and that problem would have been solved on the spot.

It's probably true what Bjørn says (who am i kidding, of course he's right).

However, i do like the image as is. The sun acts as a rim light ever so slightly and for me this separates the people enough to make them visible, yet leave a bit of mystery as to who they are or what they look like.

Of course, my 2 cents, YMMV.

Agree with Bjørn, having your subjects head(s) blend into a background shadow is rarey ever a good thing.
