flash + continous light
f/16 ! 0.8 sec iso 100
About 1 hr of trial and error to get the lights balanced + right contrast + enough blur , this allowed for the model to get ready ...
-
Armando, your effort seems to be well rewarded with this one!
-
I like a lot the contrast between her concentrated expression and the softness of motion and colours
-
Thanks Akira and Thomas, appreciate your comments
-
You both got certainly rewarded. I like the dualismn of the moving blurr and the scarf fading into darkness on the right and the crisp sharp zone on her right.
-
Thanks Thomas
here is another one that I like
-
Great photo #1.
The #2 has a weird right foot.
-
Beautiful result. I echo Thomas' comment. Motion blur with crisp sharpness makes the photos stand out.
-
Great effect in movement and light.
-
Thank Pedro Anirban and john
One last one ... Rather than use a fixed exposure time, I used bulb, start the exposure and movement at the count of 3, I let go of the trigger when the movement finished
-
All three-very well done!
-
This is really awesome!
Your efforts certainly paid off.
-
The third one is unbelievable!
-
The third one looks as nice as the first one! I like the way the compensating colors spread over the frame as well as the pose of the dancer and the framing.
-
Very nice work Armando and I also prefer the 3rd one !
-
Thanks Andrew, Hans, Jakov, Akira, Arend
Another model, the original image didn't work as her face was to blurred, so ... took the head/face from another image and replaced it

First one has a strange look under arm area,,, Second has a strange foot and arm,,, Third is just marvellous and floating Lovely!
