Title: Early morning meeting
Post by: RBSinTo on November 03, 2016, 12:27:26
Taken earlier this summer across from the Toronto Eaton Center Mall in downtown Toronto.
While waiting for a Street Photography Special Interest Group that I was leading to assemble, I noticed two men standing in a doorway across the street. Bathed in beautiful, early morning sunlight, they were busily engaged in conversation, and I liked the scene so much I grabbed this shot.
 motorized Nikon FA
Tokina ATX 80~200 2.8 AIS manual focus
Fuji 100 ISO colour slide
about f4 @ 1/1000th

+1 for the light.  Interestingly contrasting clothings!

Interesting shot.  Sometimes, I miss the inflexibility of slide film.  You take it the way the film sees it, period.  No (or virtually no) after-action finagling.

Armando /Akira / Keith,
Thanks for commenting.
Keith,
Slide film gives you back only what you recorded, unlike print film where the print gives you a second chance to play with what the negative recorded.
But, because I have to scan to convert my pictures to a Digital format for posting or showing at my club, I have a degree of freedom to play with things after the fact just as straight digital shooters do.
