Title: Northern New Mexico.
Post by: Peter on October 30, 2016, 18:01:39
Some recent images taken in Taos and Abaquiu New Mexico.
D700 first image using Nikkor-O 35mm f2 at f11 in Taos.
Adobe images D700 Quantaray Tech-10 24mm f2.8 at f11.

I had to reduce these images unacceptably low to upload them. :-\
Not as sharp as I would like you to see.

By the way I find the Sigma made Quantaray Tech-10 24mm f2.8 to be an extreme bang for the buck lens.
I also have the Sigma Super Wide II they are both the same except the name.
Both sharp corner to corner stopped down.

The first one is wonderful, but the whole set is striking Peter :)

Thanks guys I will play with them and see what I can come up with.
B&W's done using Silver Efex Pro2. The color photo was straight out of the D700 post was Raw to jpeg no cropping or enhancing, shows how well the Quantaray Tech-10 24mm does.

And thanks for the Positive comments.

Pete

Very interesting light. I love the abstraction of the first one very much. Barn looks like a piece of art!

I'll split up this thread and move the processing advice to an appropriate board. Pity to hide the informative stuff.

My apologies Bjorn, I falsely assumed you had already moved the file. :-[

No problem Mike, I just needed to decide which posts to move over instead of just splitting the entire thread with a clean cut.

Hi, Peter, welcome to NG!

I very much like the texture and the lighting of #3.  Thanks for sharing!
