Another wonderful panorama, Ron.  Love the soft lighting and the reflections off the water.

Minor note:  the site appears to be Point Bonita at the mouth of the Golden Gate, rather than Point Reyes which is farther north: http://jellybeansofdoom.com/2013/06/20/point-bonita-lighthouse-at-lands-end/ (http://jellybeansofdoom.com/2013/06/20/point-bonita-lighthouse-at-lands-end/)

Really good, I like the glow of the sun on the water and the curve of the land.

This is HWY One? Cool ride, better taken in Daytime!

A side trip off Highway 1.  It's part of an area known as the Marin Headlands on the north side of the Golden Gate.

The panorama nicely captures the golden light that often occurs near sunset along the California coast.

Thank you gentlemen and Elsa.  Bill, your geography is correct although you know the larger area is Point Reys National Seashore.  Later that evening we dined at the Spinnaker in Sausalito.  I will be making regular visits to the Bay area to see family, likely forever.

Ron, Pt. Reyes National Seashore begins about 25 km to the north and is well worth a visit when you have a chance on one of your visits.  I'll be out there sometime in the next month to photograph the elk at Pierce Point now that I finally have a long fast autofocus lens.  My last manual focus effort produced maybe one photo with acceptable focus due to the elk being close enough that small movements on their part threw the focus off.

Yes, the meal that Frank et al. ate in Hayward was not particularly good and I take responsibility for that.

Looks like I was lost as usual and someone else was driving.   Sorry about the bad meal.
