  The birds give it a temporality that makes me keep looking.  It could almost not be false color.

Uusually I for one try to avod blue sky when processing IR captures, as IR should add a layer or extra dimension of alienness to the outcome. Once in a while I'm glad to be proven wrong and that there are situations in which an apparent closer resemblance to the visible works  ;D

As Keith says, it does really look like normal vision. The selection of birds does the trick of course, especially with this deep DOF.
