Title: Lake Michigan Summer End
Post by: Michael Erlewine on September 23, 2016, 19:01:12
Lake Michigan at the end of the summer season, water still warm, but autumn coming soon.

Nice detail in the grass, also the "waves" in the grass further down. I'm not so fond of the big patch of sky, in this instance not so much is happening there. Perhaps you could boost contrast or something like that.

It seems strange to me that the image comment says “(c)2014_DIGLLOYDD”. Also, the exposure bias is noted as -3.33 EV. Is that really true?

Lloyd Chambers and I email often, but no idea where that came from. Same with the -3.33 EV. Perhaps because it was a stacked image or a couple of frames.

This photo is a good argument for living near lake Michigan!

How did you manage the wind in this case?

It's not totally managed, for one, and the shutter was just fast enough... almost.
