Title: Evening meetup Leiden, NL - 20 Sept. (Scheveningen)
Post by: Jakov Minić on September 20, 2016, 22:28:18: Peter, Hans and I gathered tonight for dinner in Scheveningen.
The weather was nice, so I suggested that we meet at the beach instead of in Leiden, or in The Hague.
It goes without saying that we had a great time, shared some laughs and experiences, and of course we made some photos :)

I am curious to see what Peter and Hans made too :)

Here are another two with D750 and 135DC.
I must say that there is very little difference if any when I compare the high ISO results between Df and D750.

Beautiful pics Jakov, of course we already knew what was coming, but even so i'm surprised to see them bigger. They look nice and the effect in the 1st of your second post is marvelous.

Interesting. When I sit down at the computer I am finding the same thing. I normally, as a matter of course, grab the Df with 58 1.4G mounted for evenings out but I am often out shooting birds into the early evening with the D750.
By the bye, I really like the images, sort of wistful and surrealistic

And you managed to get me addicted to unsharpness! It is really cool to do. And difficult.

I hardly dare to post photos in that field because I am nowhere near your level of expertise. But I am going to practice!

Let me start by including a photo that you took with my camera to show me how to use the 135mm DC for these type of shooting. The beauty of your capture may have corrupted by my postprocessing

Leiden is very famous for a jar of a different kind to that used for beer or the one in your lovely last image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leyden_jar

I'm not sure you could guess where exactly in Scheveningen we went and which type of photos we tried to take/make 8)

Well ... two can play that game (even though i had to stay off of alcohol, cause i came by car).
