'la Renaissance'
is the name of a cafe in Blou where we have enjoyed our workers' menu when we are in the neighbourhood,
unfortunately it closes down today, not just for the summer but for good, alas the french campagne is dying.

I like the first one. For the others I think: either blow out more or blow out less. Why?
Because blowing out is a great form of abstraction and shifting attention from skin to eyes.
A darkish pic shifts the attention to skin and wrinkles. Better for men than women because men are not so vein.

thank you Frank, room for different processing obviously once i am at home that is not here

...and thank you morons for your lack of interest whats new in the world besides petty self interest :o
I'm not totally sure you are addressing the other members of the forum. If you are, calling them (me included) 'moron' is not really classy.

Fons, very inappropriate. Please rephrase your post. Thanks.

Having a bad day?
Usually will not respond to this as it may encourage further comments like this to get a response but I´m interested in the images. The character, mood and processing fitting your opening statement.
I like the closeness to the subject as well. I can feel like having a close conversation.
I´m with Frank in the exposure department. My favorite choices will be a mix between the expression in the first and the exposure in the fourth -or a tad darker, but that´s nikpicking :)
You are tirelessly creating images and sharing them here. I really appreciate that.
Thanks for sharing!

Perhaps a better way to put this would be that cultural standards are much more forgiving to men than they are towards women?

Fons I like your series. The last one is my favorite of the bunch and overall I agree with Paco's sentiment. Thank you for sharing the wide variety of imagery that you do, I appreciate your effort and enjoy the views as well as your off hand remarks. It sometimes appears as though there is more interest the equipment than there is in the results made from it. I suppose it is called NikonGear, after all.
