Title: Peninsula birds
Post by: elsa hoffmann on July 10, 2016, 14:58:38
I did a Cape Peninsula tour this weekend -

Today we visited Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. I have been there many times with guests so my anything new is getting thin :)
At least the sunbird was a bit different to my previous shots.
Yesterday it was purely a bird outing to a local spot - and I managed to shoot several birds I have not managed to get before.

Beautiful birds with stunningly colorful accents!  The last one is a rare capture.  Thanks for sharing!

What are the tiny black dots sprayed over the water in the second image?

Thank you Akira
To be honest - I have NO clue what caused the black dots on the water. It not on the lens - that much I know - maybe some insects?

Thank you, Elsa.  At first, I thought them the excessive dusts on the sensor.  But they look sharp around the bird and blurry in the bokeh area.  Also, other images are intact in this regard.  So, there must be something around the bird.   ::)
