Title: D800 Live View Zoom

When using live view on D800, I can zoom in/out with the +/- controls. If I have zoomed in and then release the shutter, Live View will come up again zoomed out. Is their any setting that can bring the zoom back to the level it was before shutter release?

I have always assumed that this behavior cannot be changed.  I'd love to know differently...
