Title: White Moth on a Green Leaf
Post by: Tom Hook on May 31, 2016, 02:57:40
The closest I can come to an identification is an "Agreeable Tiger Moth". Any further suggestions would be welcome.

Very nice!
Moths are fascinating. What time of day did you find it? I just read that most moths are active in twilight or at night.

Thanks Andrea.

They are fascinating, and there are so many different ones. It took me a while to identify this one but with a name as satisfying as "Agreeable Tiger Moth", I'm sticking with my ID until someone proves me wrong!

You also confirm my experience. I took this picture late in the afternoon, yesterday. I frequently roam around my yard late in the day to see what I might find.
