Fons, The first image has a fantastic b&w conversion
I know nothing about horses, is the horse really blind and that why it is wearing a "blind" ?
The tree image is nice, you did some dodging of the tree ?

Here is some info on horses blinded for reasons.
On b/w i often start with an ir type conversion, and slowly slide i/o to accentuate the grey shades
and contrasts.
thank you Armando

A bit of a search reveals the masks are to provide protection against flies, and other insects

I like the tree too, very well done. Too bad the blind horse can't see it.
