Very nice Akira.  I like the last one especially, beautiful curved lines.

Really love these Akira!

Can you give me an indication of the exposure length?

Peter, Sten and Jaokov, glad you like the set.  :)

Peter, the sxposure time for each "frame" was at 15 or 20 seconds.

The red and blue light traces can only be captured when the front or the rear end of a train passes through the frame, and not is not overwhelmed by the brightness of the light traces from the windows.  The difference of the light sources in the carriages (white LED or fluorescent) gives different color hue in the traces, which gives a nice color variation to the image.

Another proof showing that trains provide higher socio-economic benefits than cars. My night time highway shots are comparatively boring, all red and white. Third one displays a good balance of exposure between heterogeneous elements, including the catenary poles and fixings.

Airy, Anthony, Mike and Armando, thanks for kind comments.

Airy, probably you have more insightful view on the railway transportations.  :)

What is difficult and at the same time interesting is that the "transparency" of the trains can be controlled by the amount of the time of the train included during the exposure, which is about calculating (or guessing wildly) when the train will enter and exit the frame.

The images #1 and 2 was the result of merging 4 (#1) or 2 (#2) frames in HDR automation in CC2015.  Originally I intended to do in-camera multi-exposure, but the the setting of the half-press timer was wrong and the multi-exposure was canceled while I was waiting between the exposures.  :D

I like the last on best because all the traffic lights are on, every possibility is open! and indeed the curve of the passing train is a great addition.

Thanks, Dave.  Glad you like them!

Olivier, glad you pointed out that all the traffic lights are on.  That was one of the point of the image.  Thanks!
