Title: 85mm AF f/1.4

Hi group, I'm thinking about getting an AF 85mm f/1.4 - obviously the D version is considerably cheaper than AF-S (G), and as a curveball the f/1.8 is a whole lot cheaper again.
Can I ask for some sensible opinions please?
