. . . and I apologise for posting images very similar to some I've posted before. But since these were shot earlier this morning, one thing is decidedly different . . . the date!

Had a similar view outside my windows this morning .... All white instead of the spring greens.

The only problem is that by the time we get there this lovely scene will already have turned into muddy mess.
Enjoy while it lasts.

Sadly, it's not always like this - crisp and delicate and picturesque; quite often it's just wet, and cold, and miserable. And anyway, 29 April is not winter - it's spring, some would say late spring. :-\ Now, if we could have an occasional S.African summer . . . :) :)
Just to make things clear - here are some of our local hills around 4pm today -

When you start dreaming of summer, there is always a cold spell coming. Last night was the first without subzero temperatures here. We have had a whopping 10 degrees today :)

David, you are treating us with lovely images!
Regardless of what the weather is going to be like I am sure we will all enjoy it!

Thanks, Jakov, and I'm sure you are right - when we were in the Lofotens the weather was mostly cloudy and wet but it really didn't matter.
Here is a last photo of some of Killin's hills - this morning - there has been a lot of melting in the past 24 hours -
