I know i can never reach Jakov's level, but i'm inspired by him. Here some tulips, trying to work in his style. Free lensing with a reverse lens, i believe first one with 24 2.8 and rest with the 85 1.8 (exif's wrong obviously).
[EDIT: changed title from Tulips to Flowers ...]

Splendid photography. No need to reach Jakov's level. His is his and yours is yours.

New one, not totally Jakov style. Stack of 36 images to get this "layer" of sharpness, while retaining a pleasant bokeh. It may be more Erlewinesk.
-
These are from my garden.
-
That's a very nice stack Hans.
Elias is also making beautiful images of roses :)
-
Thank you Jakov, roses come in a multitude of colors, they are beautiful and are a dear (to me) subject for photography.
-
nice ones elsid.

Thanks Jakov. It did cost quite some work and it kinda proves the proficiency of Mr. Erlewine.

Thanks Hans.Your stacked picture is beautiful. I have not found, yet, the patience to stack some of my close ups. I might some day.
