Sometimes you don't even need to leave your apartment to take a photo.
All I did was open my window.
And then I couldn't resist mounting the 300/4.5 on my IR modified D200.
Am I naughty? Probably...

A nice model in er ... an unusual position.
You should test shooting people with wet clothes on. In IR. Can produce some interesting resuts.

I could have poured a bucket of water prior to taking the shot, but something tells me that she wouldn't appreciate it. It would hurt too, I am on the 4th floor :D
Having had the experience of empty cans being poured on my head, I tend to be reluctant in doing the same somebody else...
-
I was more thinking of compliant people say emerging from water with wet swimsuits. Best done with people you are on good terms with, though. remember you are shooting in IR.

Why IR?
-
Gary have you asked me or Bjørn?
I like IR because the skin is smooth without overexposing it, the grass and leaves are white, and when I do get a bit of sky or water in the photo they tend to turn out rather dark. Of course I could have taken the shot in visible light and then desaturated it, but the whites and blacks (grays) would be differently placed...
Just take a look at the grass in this photo and you will see why IR :)

IR renders the world differently from what we see, so has alternate stories to tell. Some surprising, some hilarious, some sad. But nearly always not what one would expect. Add to this that IR in intensity matches the visible light, yet we cannot recognise it, and nobody wants to know only half truths do they?
-
Is that meant as an Erotic pic?
-
I was wondering as to the thought process ... the pre-visualization path you choose which lend you to IR.
