... is the birthday present I got from my son.
This bag is extremely well designed and, apparently, well crafted (we'll see in two years time). Enough room for Df, 2-4 lenses (including the 300 PF), laptop with power supply, and even a tripod if need be: the back, rather than the bag, is the limit.
Moreover, in its charcoal finish, it is pretty elegant.
Being able to store the Df + a relative biggie like the Tamron 45/1.8 or Nikkor 85/1.4 leaving the shade mounted is definitely a plus. And when the bag is half empty, it does not look cumbersome.
Happy father I am.

Congratulations on both accounts ;) Looks like a very convenient bag.

Thanks John. I'll be even more pleased to go to work now - for shorter, dedicated photo streaks, a smaller bag is OK. With the new one, I also can store some A4 stuff without folding.

happy birthday :o :o :o

Good for you Airy. Apparently your son observed which items you carry and how you use them very thoroughly.

Rick, Yodobashi handles one. But it is very expensive here! :o :o :o
Better to purchase directly from B&H.

I had a friend visit me recently who was in on the Kickstarter for that bag, so I could see it myself.
The current price is a bit steep, but at the Kickstarter price it was very cool.
Well thought out bag that can be easily use for business stuff and photography.
But, the padding is relatively thin and hard, so it might not fit for all environments.
cheers

Sure. If photography is the primary purpose, and elegance aside, I got better bags. Since however business is eating my time away, that's unfortunately what I need.

We both visit the same shop - there are not so many in downtown Lille. The shopkeeper managed to prevent me from buying (sold off, back order, etc.) it after my son did the purchase.
