Title: Jackdaw ballet
Post by: David Paterson on March 28, 2016, 00:05:45
Every evening at the moment, a flock of up to 200+ jackdaws give a massed display of aerial gymnastics. This is just a few of them warming up for the main event.

The first image is fantastic.  The gradient color of the background enhances the dispersed birds really effectively.

The lonely bird looks rather like a single winner.  :D

Thanks, Akira. These birds really do provide some great amusement every evening here at the moment. I think they may be celebrating the coming of spring.
