Does anyone have a D500 NEF that I can use for my testing of new RAW software. Cant say more as I am under NDA.
If you have a personal NEF then I can guarantee it will not go elsewhere.
If you send me a PM then I can provide an email address for Dropbox transfer.
Alternatively if someone knows of a D500 NEF that is available for download please can you post the url.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Erik.
I was hoping someone may have had one from one of the special Nikon days.

We weren't allowed to stick our own cards into the camera ....

Can get you a D5 NEF, if that helps.

That would be really useful as well as I will need to confirm that that is being read correctly.

That is very disappointing but I guess early hands on is the next best thing.
I dont have good contacts here in Spain so I have to wait for general release.

No problem, you are very welcome.
Any particular requirement for the NEF? ISO, patterns, etc ...

In fact, this practice has become the norm these days. Pre-production cameras are usually fully functional, but their firmware and signal processing may not be completed. Making an evaluation of a production series based on these early samples is problematic to say the least. I distinctly remember when I had to rewrite part of a review for a Nikon DSLR because it turned out to be a major discrepancy between pre-production and ordinary production bodies. The feature I initially complained about had been remedied later. I felt like a fool and luckily due to my current NDA, will not be in a position to repeat this error.

All I want is a a well (correctly) expose image but of course anything else from a Nikon is abnormal. :-)
This September I will be Nikon for 43 years! Bought my Nikkormat FT in September 1973 and my F2 Photomic in September 1974. Never regretted the choice.
