First, Mongo likes the mono treatment in this. Secondly, he likes the connection with the one on the left with the one on the right. Then he likes the connection with the one on the right with you. It's like a go-around of connections.

As far as the snack goes, neither of them look like they have ever had a snack - this could well be their first ever...... ;D

May be they are just pretending to have a snack - and feed the pidgeons instead.

I like it too. Next to the already mentioned properties of the picture, the opposite crossing of the legs somehow adds a bit of extra tension to the left woman's stare into the snack bag (or pigeon food bag  ;D ).
