Always a very colorful topic, going back to the late 70ies, so film scans and photos of today all welcome.

I met two yesterday, asking for money for

"Puff" = whorehouse
"Kiffen" = pot smoking
"Bier" = beer
"Essen" = food
"Hund" = dog

Most of the money was in "for pot smoking". They were laughing all the time listening to some comedian on the little black box in the middle.

Fons: The matters do not leave them much time and power to go working...

That's fine...as long as they find a honest way to fulfill necessary life needs (begging might not be it).

Post by: tommiejeep on February 25, 2016, 13:38:31: Don't know if they are still around but there used to be a couple of groups of Punk Rockers on the Kings Road, Chelsea that made a pretty good living posing for tourists. They were there in 2009 , one of our London area members can probably confirm. They were a heck of a lot more interesting , and entertaining, than this pair ;) . The Japanese tourists were a major source of income :) . I would imagine the Chinese tourists would have taken the number one spot.
