Taking creativity to next level; hats off to you, Charlie. I admire the amount of thought process put together, to envision the final outcome. Thanks for sharing.

I really dig it Charlie!  I hope that one makes its way on to a wall.  Very pleasant to view.

Very nice blurds! They must be seeblurds, since their easy to see ;) Hat off for creativity!

Superidea. Very creative use of blur for BIF. I'd wish for a perfectly straigt horizon...

Thank you all for the encouraging words. I took some more pictures in this same fashion which had some really nice 'silhouettes' of the individual blurds but none were as mesmerizing as this where they all make a clean sine wave like pattern across the image.

Frank, I think what you are seeing is an optical illusion from some of the birds dipping below the horizon. Scroll the image down so that the horizon is at the bottom edge of your browser and compare, looks straight to me.

Thanks again.

Glad to see I am not the only one who appreciates blurds! I have lots, mostly unplanned but somehow they are often pleasing.

This is a fantastic capture: the selection of the shutter speed is spot on!  I like the color treatment, too.
