Fabulous image Tristin. The image made me feel happy and accept the fact at the same time, that we are tiny indeed.  :D

The scale and almost complete lack of foreground are interesting to me.  Nice image.

What is your opinion does this lens bring to image which is different than say using a lens like the 50mm f/1.8 ais?

Your use of the sky reminds me of Robert Mapplethorpe's photo "the Coral Sea"

I love composition with a high sky. The fragility and marginality of our existence is clearly shown.
