Very clean pic, D4s is capable camera, from monopod or tripod?

believe it or not.. monopod... i had no time to get the tripod out.. and this was in the rain no less.
i usually shoot the 500/4 handheld.. actually now i can't remember.. i have shot the barred in the past with the monopod + 600/4

wild... this one had been hanging out in the same area for a couple of months.. so at high tide (brings the voles and mice up near the road) i would drive by (dawn or dusk) and have a look.. i wasn't lucky enough to find this one feeding on something although many had.. this morning he/she was right by the side of the road, light rain very little light that's why ISO=8000
its actually kind of interesting as folks would drive by and not see it.. they blend in really well.... some would stop and ask me what i was photographing and i would point and say "the owl".. and they would double take.
