I´m not doing anything unsual lately but I will like to share some images from a rehearsal this week. It is not professional -yet- students. The choreographer is a friend of mine.
W&W always welcome

And this is a natural light portrait to show the IQ of the nikon d750 at 12800 iso.

I enjoy images 2, 3 and 5. Nice compositions that make me feel present in the scene and the mono tones are very smooth and atmospheric. Image 4 is nice, but the cut off foot irks me.
Rehearsal and practice of an art is a disciplined joy I feel more people should know!

My favorite is #5, quite unusual...
And looking at the portrait, it just shows how far we've come in camera technology.
I love what the D750 can do....
cheers

Paco, the third one for me with the framing. :)

Thanks for all your comments. Maybe tomorrow I will have a go to a ballet class -as student- and another rehearsal. Will see if something interesting comes out of it.

I like the portait of the male. Esp. his intense gaze
-
I always enjoy your series !
#1 and #3 for me are quite special

Great theme series. I especialle enjoy 4-1-3.
Five gives a great impression of fortitude supported by the graphical line background.
One: admiring or Peeping Tom in the corner? Nice ambivalence in the scene.
Three: tension sinking in, very contemplatory moment.

very nice series Paco. Very much like the B/W treatment for this subject. #3 for sure for Mongo - it speaks with calculated expressive movement and is tightly framed to concentrate that for the viewer.
Mongo has heard about the D750's noise virtues in low light - your image seems to be another example of that.

Thank you for your input and support,
The male in the portrait is the same as the one in focus in #1. He is the choreographers brother. They look alike and there are a couple more shots trying to show that without being so obvious.
I´m very happy that the images can evoke some intentions by themselves. #3 is an example of cutting part of the information while trying to keep most of the meaning. Still working on that and it is fascinating for me as a dancer as well.
#5 is part mistake, as many other images I find interesting enough to post here to see if it is for other people as well. I was not looking for that image, it is a happy occurrence and I like it a lot.
Today I went to the rehearsal without camera because I had another duties and can not do both at the same time. Very different mind frame. Will try again Monday.
Cheers :)
