Some might remember me, I posted as percafluvialitis on the previous generation NikonGear forums.

Anyway, I'm a family man in my fourties, live in Helsinki/Finland, employed as a full-time photographer (mostly in Finland but in the past 10 years increasingly around the World). I own a studio in Helsinki and am partner in a camera rental service, which has an inventory of around 100 different lenses for Nikon full-frame DSLR (ranging from fisheyes to the 800mm FL VR).

I'm sure that inventory of Nikkors and their associated stories can contribute a lot to our Lens Talk board !!

Hello Bjørn, I am happy to today have discovered this forum and great to see the core crew is familiar from years ago :)

Weather forecast for Helsinki this week is -10 to -15C, heavy snowfall and wind speed of 12-14m/s so yes the next few days there should be plenty of time to navigate the lens talk sections after 9pm Helsinki time - I have spent far less time online after our daughter was born 3 years ago 8)

Welcome to our place. Curious what you do with your cameras and lenses.

My youngest is 5 years. Kids keep us busy!!!

Welcome again ;) Indeed it looks like you should be able to pitch in a lot with valuable info on shooting and gear! ;) But do enjoy the little new one first!
