Kjerag is one of the world's most popular sites for base jumpers - one of them can be seen in the upper centre part of this picture. They hike up to the plateau for 2-3 hrs, evaluate the wind conditions, calm the nerves before they (as the madmen and women they are) throw themselves off the cliff, aiming for the ground 1000m below.
This is from 2012 when we all of a sudden, as is typical for the mountains, were cloud'ed up.

talk about drama... Very nice! Did the guy jump in the end?

I don't know if that guy jumped, but if not I'm sure he had a blast up there!

I am not about to try that. My pants would smell funny. I like the shot, dramatic, almost hellish.

Impressive Sten. Dramatic indeed, with the contrast and the clouds.

Splendid work!

beautiful capture - and I love the tones

Beautiful Sten!
I've been up there twice (to visit the Bolten) and on both occasions had good weather and the jumpers jumped :P

Awesome Sten, great light and atmosphere.

Lots of drama and tension. After you pointed out the man it becomes a huge proportions drama!!! And I agree it looks hell-ish too. It works wonderfully

Very dramatic. Looks like a place where there might be trolls (the traditional Norwegian type).
