The painted wall of a Vietnamese restaurant on the border between Kensington and the Original Chinatown district here in Toronto, is an excellent background and when there are no cars parked in front of it, I'll usually stand across the street for a while to see if any interesting subjects walks into the scene.
We have a unit of bicycle-mounted police that patrol areas like Kensington and on this particular day, one officer stopped in front of the wall.
I thought his presence added a touch of humour to the scene and grabbed this shot.

The people in the mural don't seem quite dressed for the snow.

Yeah,
A hardy bunch in that mural. They never seemed to dress any different summer or winter.
I thought about cloning out the snow, but then didn't feel like doing it, so I just left it hoping the viewers could just suspend belief and enjoy the humour.

The snow adds a significant yet subtle element to the shot. And it makes the transition from street to mural less abrupt. Good job, snow and all.

He's not even on a motorcycle.
That is a pedal-powered bicycle which weighs very little and so is likely very difficult to ride over slippery or snow-covered roads and sidewalks.
