Today air temp fell to -5 F (-20 C), but the local river still has a few open spots. Not for long, though.
I wasn't all alone on my stroll, for a short while I had some company. He decided to move to Morocco, though.

Lucky you Peter no winter here yet.
-
... plus 4 centigrades here. Your winter pics have a golden touch.
Does not look like icy freezing, more like a marvelous sunny winter day.
Thanks for showing!

Stunning Peter.
+36 C here today. No chance of snow.

These are nice. Tell me of #2. Is that a snow flower garden?
-
Peter, I enjoy the color and the motion contrasting the stillness in image 3.
Also I feel your pain. It's dropping into the 50s tonight here in my corner of California! ::)

Thanks, Gary. The scene is a patch of river ice with some ice crystals.

Thank you Tristin. That's not too bad at all :-). To be honest, I like the winter, the scenery, and doing winter sports, but I dislike the cold. I guess one cant have one without the other, though. :P

Peter, nice set of images. I think #1 would show well as a bw.
Yeah, when the cold hits I really just want to stay indoors, but then I would miss some chance for a nice image :)
Besides I still have all the special clothing I bought for shooting in Utah and New Mexico in the winter - so no excuses really.
