Title: Just trying to post and image

   How do you insert an image on a post here?  Do you have to post it elsewhere like Flickr or into an album on this forum?

Use attachments if your image isn't on an external hosting service.

dave - I post on Flickr  - as I understand it saves this site bandwidth?
very easy to do via Flickr - just copy the bb something code and paste in in here - and your image will display
I can look the code up if you are stuck - but right now my bandwidth is hogged by uploads and I live in dark africa - speed - ....

its the BBCode - which you find when clicking on the share button of your image on flickr

I'm not sure what I did to get this attached from my computer.  Just kept doing different things.
These are Mdme Toussaud figures in a castle in England.  I got the wrong image because it has the black lines around it from my scanner.  I cropped it to take them out, but still grabbed the wrong image.

Looks like I should write up a Guideline for Posting an Image!!
That is now on the TODO LIST.  :D
