Hello, this is from yesterday. Live show in Córdoba, Spain. Not very productive day but I still manage to savage some images. I put this one up for your consideration. Way bigger crop than I would like and some manipulation in Photoshop. Very unusual -for me-
C&C welcome.
-
Really cool shot! Only CC I can come up with is the image appears a bit tilted, to the left. Perhaps I could be wrong. I hope the performer gets a copy of this image. :)
-
Very nice, Paco!
-
Yeeees...I like!
If I may suggest though: Intensify the red and rotate it clockwise just a tad.
-
Awesome Paco, great light and the falling red feathers on the black background really make the image for me.
-
Mind blowing shot. I'm amazed with the light, red feathers and how perfect is the moment when shutter was clicked.
-
Thank you all for the responses and suggestions. This is a second option with brighter and more saturated red as well as some increased contrast as well.
-
Great shot
v2 is an improvement IMO
-
Well done! Agreed about the 2nd version being better.
-
The second version does look improved. You captured a fine moment.
I may want to trim the left side to put the dancer in the center, though...
-
Wonderful shot! I like the crop and as Jan Anne says, the falling leaves really adds to the image.
-
Thank you all for your input. So far V2 is having better reponses, not only here so thanks again for your generous suggestions.
I have tried to make the image perfectly straight and also to crop it to put the dancer in the center but I feel it looks better with those "imperfections" for the lack of a better word, because it gives movement and calls my attention?. Feel free to present a different view.

A few more from the same night.
-
wonderful series
And I think 237 is just brilliant
-
The stage set using lamps hanging from above looks much better in these additional images, and I love the last two very much.
In comparison, the thread (chain?) hanging from the lamp in the first image is really distracting to me and it degrade the picture. I remember seeing the similar stage setting in your iamge a while ago and thought the thread (tied to the on-off switch?) distracting, too.
Of course, it is not your fault, but I didn't like them, at least to my taste...
-
Thank you both.
Akira, I remember talking about it in the past. A few days ago the same point came out while talking with the dancer/choreographer. She is not sure about it. The thread has been already changed and it is possible it will desapear in the future. The jury is still out...
Interesting the reach of comment here. Thanks again!

I like the trio photo a lot!
The duo is a bit strange because the lamp above the guitar player is not visible.
Really nice images all together!
