I love the transition between the bottom, clearly small mountains seen from a plane, and the background, easily mistaken for an agitated see.
Very confusing!

I like this landscape.

However, not sure there is mist on planet Mars.

As for the road...We have to wait few centuries !  ;)

Your picture ''bumpy Hearth'' would more likely match the title.

I know you do get around to quite a few places with your camera Ron, but Mars... that's pretty cool!

And it's safe to bring a Nikon D800 DSLR to Mars - good to know.

Great shot! At first I saw it as a misty ocean with big waves but then I looked at the foreground.

Lars, you saw it first here, a D800 on Mars.

The difference in clarity between foreground and background is a result of natural phenomena and not processing.  Light had to pass through more atmosphere loaded with dust and water vapor.
