The update for Lr CC/6 has been posted. And the update restores the old import dialogue among quite a few bug fixes!
-
Mike, Does it work normally with El Cap?
-
Yep obviously quite new yet but works well with El Cap also it seems to be a bit faster in doing what it does! as you can imagine really only a short acquaintance, for a single image the export action seems to take place before you have time to get ready!
-
Sounds like it is primarily a bugfix release after the previous botched update.
Related: I shutdown the CC app and the "Adobe Desktop Service" as they were using more than 1.1GB of memory together.

Thanks for the notification Mike
I have updated LR and PS
it went quickly and without odd quirks
-
My pleasure Armando. ;)
-
wow, the performance improvement when exporting is very noticeable!
-
Then they just need to speed up the rest of the program ;D ;D ;D
-
It works for me.
I'm not convinced that they improved speed though.
Still see quite laggy screen repainting and such.

Adobe posted a new update today. I'll like to warn people using LR on OS X at least, that you might run into trouble with some folder permissions. It is apparently a known issue with the release (great job Adobe, release software with an issue known to make the software unusable) and requires changing some folder permissions. The guide to solve it is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-cc-2015-4-lightroom-6-4-crashes-on-launch.html
Only problem was that the folders mentioned in that link already looked fine - my user account already had full access to the folders. I contacted support and ended up fixing several other folder permissions before it started working.

ACR 9.5 too. New grey interface to match LR and Bridge.
