Went to the lake after the rain had stopped, spotted two brave fishermen. Lac d'Annecy France.
I'd like to hear your opinion or remarks.

It took me some time to spot the fishermen ;)
Now if you only had the AW1 handy and submerged it half-way...

A wet and rainy day indeed. The sword-shaped leaves must be an Acorus (second choice: Iris), but not certain about the tall grass.
Second using the AW1 when you are in this kind of location.

You know guys, i did have the AW1 at that time, but just not with me when i went down to the lake.
I did later try it in the lake with my kids swimming. Water was too muddy to "see" anything under water.
But, good tip for next time (makes mental note).

Compared to air, water acts like thick fog in nearly all cases so first rule in underwater photography is getting close.

have some problems to read their authorisation badge for fishing, maybe you detected a crime,
take your 1AW and dive over there tomorrow
beside this minor objection, i like this lake and you took a good picture of it

I really like the AW1 when I go fishing. No worry about slipping and falling in other than getting wet oneself, and it is always ready for a capture of the catch.

Your horizon is a tad skew - easy to fix in post processing ;)

Yeah, i since found out and changed my approach a bit. By the way, i actually bought the AW1 to make images and movie clips of my kids in the swimming pool. So, i did this (quite a lot) this year's summer holiday. Pool water is generally much clearer anyway :)

@Thomas: well, yes, but the measly D300 doesn't give enough MP power to blow up the picture enough to double check ;D
@ Øivind: It indeed is a nice little camera. I tend to use underwater mostly. My wife likes it better to take snaps with than the other cams i have. Those are "too difficult" for her, she claims. BTW, i never go fishing.
@ Elsa: Thanks. "I dont think I would have mentioned the fisherman...", but i did make you look throughout the image where those darn fishermen are, didn't i ;) On the skewed horizon, i don't think so. But, i shot this with the toki 12-24, so i think you're seeing its not so straight at 12mm feature. I'll check the horizon when i'm back home (@ work now).
