Title: 3 days at the beach
Post by: armando_m on November 02, 2015, 00:38:16
Manzanillo México

1. Dinner time, throw the net three times , last time cached 3 decent size fish and he walked away

2. The night before it rained very hard, all night, the next day it was overcast and rain came and stop every so often , a few surfers didn't care and went into the water, light got really special at 11AM

3. the nearby creek brought tons and tons of mud, the water turned into chocolate color, some kids kept surfing , I think this looks better in b&w

5. Saturday a more normal orange, the cloud cover was mostly gone

6. this kind of birds flew for  hours in front of the place I stayed, so  I got a goof BIF practice, AF-C D51 worked best for tracking the little birds

Wow Armando, you must have had a nice time.

The B&W surfer dude would work well as a series, they're really nice and, as Bjørn says, action packed.

I keep coming back to this post. Each images are so powerful and sublime. First photo and third one - how perfectly timed. Beautiful shots!

Thanks David and Frank,

Fascinating body studies. A male model?
He is a local kid, I do not know him, and I do not know if he noticed me taking photos

Here is another sunset, taken the same day just  a bit later than the one before

This last sunset image is really nice. Especially how the waves recede into the background and seem to "morph" into the distant mountains.

Nice series Armando, those surfer pics are awesome!!!

Looked at the images first before reading the text and wondered what you did in processing to make it look so muddy, turns out it was this muddy ;D
