A country lane ... I wish to be a kid again, with a long stick and my dog, exploring the puddles and wet grasses for insects. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Elsa, Pluton, Gary and Armando - your comments are not only very generous, they are all very accurate responses or observations - the rain did come as a reprieve after a long drought; it is a gorgeous place; I still take my dog and poke around looking for spiders or butterflies; and we all want to inhabit a gilded, dream landscape such as the one which the light momentarily created for me and my camera.
