. . . it's another Loch Tay dawn, but very different from my previous visit a couple of days ago. This one is the "painted sky"-type dawn.
-
don't stop, there are so many wonderful possibilities!
The sky reflections are magnificent in these shots, especially this one.
-
Capturing such beautiful light is part of why we do this, yes?
I'm hoping for some beautiful dawn skies like this during the Scotland Meetup.
-
Gorgeous picture !
Don't hesitate to repeat... ;)
The far line of mist brings a plus.
Like it ! :D

Thank you all for your kind comments.
Olivier - I tried a couple of things as you suggested after my last post, but I won't be able to process them for a couple of days.
Andrea - I hope you will all be lucky, like this. We have a maritime climate so gorgeous skies can occur in any season, at any time . . . but . . . autumn is favourite for this kind of spectacle.
Rosko - when I first saw this scene at about 7am, it was ordinary - no mist, very little colour. But within 3 or 4 minutes it became what you see.
-
This gives me an immense feeling of inner satisfaction.
-
keep repeating yourself. I didnt hear you properly the first time ;D
-
Thanks, Anthony and Elsa.
-
I can appreciate your repetitiveness.
-
Love it David
-
Please just keep repeating yourself aa long as you like!
-
Yes, beautiful, David.

Gary, Peter, Keith and John - thank you all very much.
I was up today, pre-dawn, for the third time this week, tho' this time it wasn't entirely voluntarily - I was taking my wife to Glasgow airport for a 6am flight. Of course I took the camera-bag along, but though the sky was clear and the sun eventually rose into a perfect sky, nothing special happened. Win some, win some . . .
