It seems autumn has arrived
-
The seven mountains in the morning fog. Love #1. Thank you, Werner!
-
Interesting conjunction of wispy, foggy nature with hard rails.
Is the building in #2 a church? A castle?
-
The Building in #1 and #2 is the Drachenburg an eclectic building
errected by a factory owner. I will search for a link that explains.

Thanks, Frank!! I certainly would not have guessed this castle was in use as an electric building. "-) But nobody could afford to reside in such a place these days, could they?

Thanks Frank and Andrea,
the castle in the second shot is the same as the one in front of the fog of the first shot. The one behind the fog, a little bit higher are the ruins of castle Drachenfels, which is much older.
Her are few shot from up there (Drachenfels), taken with my newest old lens I found on a camera flee market last weekend, a mirror Nikkor 500mm f8 latest edition:
(The two last shots are from the same raw file, just before and after PS ;-) )

The black and white shot of our valley is just wonderful. It tells all the story necessary to understand why millions
of tourists come here every year.
Frank. We have to go shooting anytime soon. Autumn is a great time. Old Cementary?
-
PS. You make great use oft he dehaze in PSCC
-
oh la!! I am rofl over "electric" vs. "eclectic". That will teach me not to read without my contact lenses.

The mirror lens seems to produce some colour banding? Of course, a foggy atmosphere is difficult for any lens to see through . "-)
I like the B&W fog foto.

Andrea. I need a set of different glasses for different situations. But sometimes even with the right glasses
concentration escapes me.

Alaun, this is an area I've visited many times but only at river level, so very interesting to see a different viewpoint, rock on.
