Title: Dave the cat in close up!
Post by: Mike G on September 27, 2015, 17:58:01
Dave was sunning himself and having a wash outside my back door!

Awww!! He looks so innocent, doesn't he? Do you think he's asking for a handout? If you start feeding him, he will happily be yours.

He was looking directly at the sun, it seems...  :-)

Looking at me at my back door, you can see the reflection of the door in his right eye which is south facing so is quite bright

Andrea, He won't stay long enough of me to feed him and he won't touch the cat treats I leave out for him, very very suspicious. Sadly me and my neighbour who does feed him we think may have been mistreated which is a damn shame because I reckon he's a handsome fellow. I would gladly give hime a home but he needs to ask if you get what I mean, as you well know cats suit themselves!

If kitty has never tasted cat treats, it probably does not recognize that it is actually cat food. Try leaving a small portion of canned cat food instead??
My cats are very particular about treats. They like some and totally ignore others. There is no figuring out cats!

No, they can detect BSE germs (or the like) while you can't, that's all.

He even seems to have some wild cat genes looking at his face ! We cross from time to time in Europe some mixed wild/stray cats that keep the shy or careful character of the wild cats :-)

Jacques you may well be right, he has a black tip to his tail. Although he's not a true wild cat!

My immediate response was "No Why!!!" and I was compelled to see what you posted. And there is a close up of Dave ... and another yes for being on the handsome side of cat-dom. Good Job.   :)

If there was a fan magazine for cats, that close up would be a cover.
