I was torn on this regarding the distortion, the distortion adds some emphasis and at the same time it is distracting.

This was the dress rehearsal and the drama teacher gives me free access.

The drama teacher is top notch and these are not ordinary kids. Whitney High School is one of the top, if not the top, public high school in California and in the top ten in the United States. The kids are all exceptional and they throw themselves 110% into everything they do.

It does look like you got full access and freedom to move around and you used it! Exposure is spot on -manual?-, timing and framing...very good job. I, for once, like the extra something of the wide angle. It is not an usual option unless you can move as you were able to do. Thanks for sharing

Thank you Paco. I'm constantly moving ... playing with the lighting and the performers. I am shooting in manual, spot lights and kids controlling them, don't mix well for photography.
