Some button chrysanthemums viewed through a tiny Russian Jupiter 12 lens with a 20m extension tube. Almost Rodenstock-ish, I think. #3 is a tiny bud.
-
The last one is very appealing due to the delicate colours.

I find all of them appealing, but especially the 2nd one, with the little surprise below the flower.

Thanks, Bjørn. The lens seems best at images like this. It does not seem to handle bright colours well, especially reds and greens which look garish. However, it is early days and I am still figuring out the best way to process the images.

Thanks, Hans. I think that the flash of colour must be an adjoining bloom.

Oh I like the 1st one best - soft and contrasty at the same time

#1 and #3 are favourite for me, and actually #1 reminds me of the 35mm/1.4 AIS Nikkor, when used at 1.4. I've never handles a Rodenstock so I can't make comparisons.

Thanks for commenting, Elsa and Dave. Its an interesting lens - quite fun to use on the Df.
A couple more, on the same theme....

I love that green one - what a colour!
-
Thanks, Dave. It is an intense green - I had to tone it down a little bit.
-
Super. Lovely color-details.

Thanks, John.
