Down at the loch before sunrise today, and this family of four whooper swans were among the first to get moving as the air warmed up. It was a classic autumnal morning.
-
That is beautiful. I'm fond of this kind of foggy, very early morning light.
'T'would be fun to have a close view of the swans in this light also.
-
I would have preferred no swans in the image - they are too small to make a valuable contribution in my opinion. I really like the rest of the image.
-
looking at this Loch is like a 5 minute holiday. ---> but I had to get a sweater because this is not a warm morning obviously (I guess 5°C to 10°C ?) <--- LOL
-
Thanks for your comments, Andrea and Elsa.
Elsa - I disagree with you about the swans but, since a lady's wish is my command, here is how it looks without them. :)
-
Thanks, Frank - I'll take that as a compliment. It was cool but not cold at the loch - maybe 8deg?
-
Indeed you've got a really nice worm here! Personally I like the original image as it is.

Compliment? definitely. I am generally riding a wave of fire, which is my nature, so calm is wonderful if I can find calm sometimes. You saved my morning.
[8°C is in the range of 5° to 10° isn't it?]

Well I'm glad to be of service! Calm is the key. :)
(And my stated 8º was merely to confirm your estimate.)

Yes I like it better - or if the swans were bigger. But as said - its just my opinion :)
