A rather popular plant, but a bit old-fashioned too, in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Perhaps the popularity has it's origin in the Catholic Church. They regarded the Cyclamen (or sowbread) as a symbol for Maria's bleeding heart... Is this plant still popular elsewhere?

Certainly in the UK Cyclamen are reasonably popular. To my eyes your photo seems a bit over saturated!
-
Yup popular in South Africa also.
I would have wished for a softer background to make it stand out more - I like it though

Thank you Mike and Elsa. I presume it's an international bestseller ;)
Still struggling getting my settings at the way I want in PN and working with two PP-systems at the moment is a bit 'complicated'. Agree on the 'supermarket'-background.
Anyway this is an ACR-CC version and by far not perfect...

now just the yellow band.... :)

Sorry John, I agree with Elsa perhaps lift the shadows a wee bit. But that said the revised edition is much much better. ;)
-
Thank you for your kind remarks. By the way, I dislike Cyclamen; still wondering why I shot them ;)

John, keep the first image with its background, just ease off on the contrast :)
That should take care of the colors :)
