this bee was small (8mm).. not really sure on ID.  will try hydrating the eyes.. this sample was 1 week old when imaged.

Nikon D800E ,Mitutoyo M Plan APO 5x NA 0.14 200/0
265 stack iso100, RAYNOX TUBE 180mm bellows extension, 5mm objective extension - aprox 4.1x

Great detail and photography. Why do the eyes have dark and light coloration?

these bugs are dead so they dry out over time..they need to be re-hydrated..
